2024 National Political Conventions: Milwaukee and Chicago
The Republicans and Democrats have begun preparing for their respective national conventions. The Republican National Convention (RNC) will be held in Milwaukee from 15 to 18 July, and the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago from 19 to 22 August.
Owing to high-profile controversies surrounding both parties, the risks for terror attacks, targeted political violence, riots, large-scale demonstrations and road blockages will be high in both cities.
